Flipping and Flopping

Madison has been taking Gymnastics at Gymnest in Huntington and enjoys going there every Monday night. This past Monday after gymnastics, Corey had a surprise for her. A brand new, shiny red leotard, just like the "big" girls wear to gymnastics. I didn't get a picture of her face when he gave it to her but it was priceless! You would've thought she'd just won the olympics and she was receiving her gold medal! The funny thing is, he wanted to give it to her as a Christmas present. He even had me be sneeky buying it while she was taking gymnastics. I took it out to the truck to hide it and everything. He can't keep surprises...he gets too excited because he knows his gifts bring excitement. So as soon as we get home, he has Madison close her eyes really tight and puts it in her hands. He wanted her to guess what it was but she had no idea. Finally she opened her eyes and was super excited! Well, of course she had to try it on and test it out.

She just knew her new leotard would give her the extra help she needs to do her back handspring.

I don't know if it helped her flip any harder but she sure looked great doing it!

She really did look like one of the "big girls"!

On another note...I guess Corey got an ant in his pants or something because he decided to show Madison and I how he could still do a back tuck. I wanted so badly to get my camera back out but he didn't want me to get a picture of him landing on his neck. Needless to say, he landed it perfect and looked great! Getting out of bed the next morning was a different story though! Lets just say he took it nice and slow!

Great finesse! Keep up the good work, and some day your photo may be on a box of Wheaties (like Mary Lou Retton).

I noticed "there's no pictures" of snow pictures.(Pardon the pun and incorrect grammar). Perhaps today you'll have pictures of slipping, sliding, and sledding.

Enjoy your *SNOW*DAY* because there's no day like a snow day!
